Our experience with L3Cube has been super amazing! Full of learning and teamwork. We are grateful to Raviraj Sir for selecting us (the first group from Cummins COEW) for this internship and mentoring us with great dedication. His deep practical knowledge, enthusiasm and passion truly inspired us to work harder!

We worked in the domain of semantic textual similarity for Indian languages and learnt a lot about state-of-the-art models like BERT and Sentence-BERT. We developed and released our own SBERT models for the top 10 languages in India which are being used by people across the globe. Apart from this, the internship taught us many important skills like literature survey, documentation, presenting the work in a research paper format, speaking at conferences etc. The regular weekly meetings allowed us to discuss our progress, resolve doubts and plan out next tasks smoothly.

Within 3 months, our first research paper got accepted at an international conference, and there's more in the pipeline. None of this could have been possible without the meticulous guidance of Raviraj Sir. His attention to detail, resolving doubts and systematic way of work is commendable!

From being absolute beginners to making significant contributions to Marathi NLP, we look back at this year-long journey with immense pride and satisfaction.

We'd recommend this internship to all the juniors to wish to utilize their time doing meaningful work!
